Gathering Area

"A gathering area provides a place where teachers can meet with groups for a variety of reasons.  At the beginning of their time in the outdoor classroom, teachers can help children make individual choices about which areas to explore that day. Groups can also meet at the end of their outdoor time to share individual discoveries and learning that occurred."
